We are Kim & Co Newtown Laundry Service.
We are based on the Lion Works in Newtown and have been there for over a decade.
We are easy to reach and you can even park right outside!
Our current opening times are:
Monday: 9am - 5pm
Tuesday: 9am - 5pm
Wednesday: CLOSED
Thursday: 9am - 5pm
Friday: 9am - 5pm
CLOSED WEEKENDS
We are open most bank holidays but at reduced hours so make sure to keep an eye out on our Facebook and Google pages.
Our Story
We are Kim & Co Newtown Laundry Service and we have been in the Laundry industry for over a decade. We are a family-run business that started with Kim Gallagher. Kim worked as a part-time home and commercial cleaner.
After spending a couple of years building up a client base, Kim started offering an ironing service for her clients. As her customers grew, she needed more space than her dining room. Here is where Kim & Co started.
She started in a small industrial unit, which had traditionally been used for storage before. But she began acquiring some second-hand machinery and got to work.
13 years on and she now operates on a much larger scale with 60+ commercial customers and 30+ domestic customers who have continued to use us for years. We have 10 members of staff all dedicated to keeping the standards she set 13 years ago.
